You know there are other gadgets that work like a PC. All these gadgets have components similar to the other ones used in a PC.

Laptop

1. Laptops are also called notebooks 

2. They are small in size, light in weight and can be carried anywhere.

3.Include all the components of a desktop personal computer 

4. Laptops have rechargeable batteries for the power supply so can be used anywhere.

Tablets

1. Tablets are similar to laptops but smaller.

2. They usually provide a touch screen display where the instruction can be provided by touch; other input devices are not needed.

3. A tablet provides a built-in keyboard. You can use your fingertip or stylus (pen-like device) to provide inputs through the keyboard.

4. Tablets are growing in popularity because they can also be used as a smartphone.

Smartphones 

1.A mobile phone that performs many of the functions of a computer, typically having a touchscreen interface, Internet access, and an operating system capable of running downloaded apps.

2. A smartphone is a mobile phone that can do more than other phones. They work as a computer but are mobile devices small enough to fit in a user's hand.

3. Mobile phones are used for a variety of purposes, such as keeping in touch with family members, for conducting business, and in order to have access to a telephone in the event of an emergency. Some people carry more than one mobile phone for different purposes, such as for business and personal use.

Thin Clients

1. A thin client is a lightweight computer that has been optimized for establishing a remote connection with a server-based computing environment. The server does most of the work, which can include launching software programs, performing calculations, and storing data.

2. Thin Client facilitates sharing of application.

3. A thin client is used in the most server-client network.
